This is the first week since the middle of June that I have felt good! It has made for an interesting summer. I am 17 weeks (as of yesterday) and all I have to say is...IT'S ABOUT TIME! This is also an apology to all my friends I have abandoned while I have been sick. Do you want to hang out now???

Gold Trophy!
Mason got his very first "gold trophy" a couple weeks ago after his last t-ball game. While the other kids were devouring their cupcakes, Mason was staring at his trophy with a huge smile on his face. He's always had a thing about championship games and winning the so called "gold trophy" afterwards. It was a BIG deal for the kid!

Daddy and Reese
We went to the Mariners game Monday night. Reese loved it but wanted to get down the whole time so Derek decided to walk her around the stadium (it was my birthday after all and I didn't feel like struggling with her). When they came back he handed me a little card with a website and a code on it and told me to check it out when I got home. I was pleasantly surprised to see this picture! Reese's face says it all but I think it is so sweet!

Oregon Coast
We had a great time at the ocean this last weekend. We went with Derek's parents and we all had a lot of fun. The kids loved the ocean and being with their grandparents. They did not like the long drive, but Mason was a champ and rarely complained. Reese was pretty much the worst, but we love her anyway and will forgive her for not liking being strapped in the car. Friday night we stayed in Vancouver then Saturday morning we drove the rest of the way to the ocean. They actually did really well on the way down. We were only there for 24 hours but we were able to go the beach twice. I'm not sure if we will make that drive again, at least for a while. We were in the car for 8 hours on the way home (normally about a 5 1/2 hour drive but tons of traffic). At one point I started bawling thinking we were never going to make it. When we finally made it home we all crashed and were thankful for our own beds! Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Bingham for a great weekend!
Mason loved for the waves to chase him!
Reese kept busy at the beach by running away from me and eating sand.
Sunday morning we woke up and walked down to the beach again. Mason immediately got his shorts wet and had to take them off (he hates being wet). So we let him run around in his underwear.
