We had our ward Trunk or Treat last night. Mason and Reese both had a blast! Reese is officially obsessed with candy and has been whining for it all morning. Mason has been pretty good about not eating the whole thing right away. He'll say "I will have 4 pieces because I'm 4 years old." I'm just glad they go to the dentist in a few weeks!

Pumpkins

We took the kids to the pumpkin patch on Saturday. Last year we thought we were pretty lame (see here). This year we wanted to get it done early so we had no excuse. Of course the kids loved it.

Not that I didn't know this before, but my kids are terrible when it comes to looking at the camera. Case in point...

Full blown obsession

I've mentioned before that Mason is obsessed with baseball. I think it's a fine thing to be obsessed with. Well, little did I know his brain is always thinking baseball. Last night, Derek did the bedtime routine with him. Occasionally, Derek will come out and get me when he's done because Mason wants me to sing him the songs. Last night was no different but when he told Derek to go get me he said "I want mommy to sing songs, go get her, kind of like bringing in a new pitcher" So basically he wanted me to relieve Derek and be the "closer". We were laughing so hard because we couldn't believe that our little guy could think of an analogy like that. He definitely has Derek's brain and same obsession. I love this boy!

Movie of the Week

What can I say? Mason loves this movie and it makes us laugh. Who cares if it's the beginning of October!

Reesie's Ride

I couldn't believe it today when I looked over and she was actually scooting along on Mason scooter. Kicking with one little foot and everything. Mason got this for his 3rd birthday and it took him a week to figure it out. It amazes me how fast this child learns, I guess that comes along with having an older brother.
