Arm and a Leg

I decided to spend a small fortune on Reese's 1 year pictures. I love Yuen Lui. I had taken Mason their for his 1 year pictures so I wanted to do the same for her. I think they turned out great and worth every penny. I didn't have Mason's picture taken alone this time because he'll be 4 in 3 months and decided to wait till then.

My favorite are the top two. I wasn't a big fan of the daisy background (it doesn't really match), but my mom loved the look on her face so she choose that one for her. We also had to get one with Reese making the cheesy face she makes so much!! Just for kicks, here is Mason at one. I can't get over how long his hair was! (I'd thought if you clicked on them it would make them bigger but it doesn't...sorry!)

Slacker!

I've been REALLY lazy the last few weeks. This is my excuse for not blogging very much. I think I'm getting out of slump. I went to the YMCA for the first time this morning in 2 weeks. I had been going 5 days a week and then couldn't get back into it after going to Oregon. Anyway, we really haven't done much since it's been so dang cold, but it did warm up last Friday so I took the kids and their cousin Jack to the zoo with Grandma. They loved it and we got our exercise. It was even 85 degrees by the time we left!

Seriously...

I love these pictures! A mom of one of the boys that plays on Derek's summer team took these in Salem. She gave Derek framed copies yesterday for Fathers Day. Derek told her I would probably cry when I saw them, and he was right. He told me that I couldn't get him anything for Father's Day this year so I was thrilled that she did this for him. Some people are so nice!
(I scanned the picture of Mason, that is why it is so light. It's not as light looking at the actual picture.)

Baseball Weekend

Derek had some baseball games in Salem Oregon this weekend so we decided to tag along. It was nice to get a way for a few days, but it's always a lot of work to travel. Reese has decided to hate riding in the car, which makes for a long trip! Mason was super good the whole time and was lots of help. He loves going to daddy's games. He listened the whole time and all the parents love him and Reese so I had lots of help. We even had 70 degree weather on Sunday, it was nice not to see rain for a few days! Here are a few pictures from our weekend.

He is such a funny boy. I love that he sits with the team after the games. He wants to be just like the "big boys"!

On the way home we made a few stops. Our first stop was to the Nike Employee store (thanks to Derek's friend for getting us in). We all got something new (for 50% off) and we even found Mason his cleats for baseball that starts next week. He loves to wear them and thinks he runs really fast now. We then stopped at Grandma and Grandpa Bingham's in Vancouver for a BBQ on their new deck! The kids love their grandparents and had fun being free and not being in their car seats! We then listened to Reese squeal, whine, cry and yell all the way to Olympia until she fell asleep. It was nice to finally get home!!!

My kind of Scrapbooking

After waiting two weeks for this to come (dang costco.com), I am so excited to FINALLY start to scrapbook! I am so not crafty and this is perfect for me. I hope it's worth all $30 bucks!

(I know, kind of plain. I'm trying to get a feel for it!)
